In the slightest bit of time, I have been absent and I have also somehow gotten 40 page views this April which tells me I need to write no matter the case. So.
This is going to be a rant on the Australian Invasion (AUI) that's been happening since February 20th, 2012 when the song 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye came out. I, personally, hated that song. But, it turns out that us Americans are really late on this song considering they made a music video for it July 5th of last year (2011). Here is the video for all you fans out there who may read this...
Somebody That I Used To Know:
They make strange faces while singing...
Anyway, secondly, on February 14th, 2012, a while before Gotye became viral in the US, a YouTuber named 'FrigginBoom', which I do like watching on the YTube, joined YouTube and is, as I think, from Adelaide, Australia.
Here's his channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/frigginboom?feature=results_main
This I knew about because of one of my other favourite YouTubers called 'Wheezy Waiter' had done a video that can be followed through this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giLv9Jd4xYs&feature=relmfu
But, back to the AUI. There has also been a Febreze commercial, which has been shown on USA Network, has an Australian doing the Febreze challenge. I cannot pull it up because I don't know how to search for the commercial. There was also another commercial about moving with this Australian company.
For the last commercial, I know there's the Dish Network 'The Hopper' commercial, which I have:
The only reason this one is part of the AUI is because they use a kangaroo. That's all...
Now, being me, I assume things, and in this case, you might think I am just assuming these things that could possibly be happening. You could also say I'm just guessing, but I do believe that this could be a real invasion.
Step 1: Use Dish Network, Febreze and some moving company's commercials.
Step 2: Put Australians in talk shows as hosts or guests. (In that, I'm talking about Channel One, a show/news segment that my old school watches every morning before school. His name is Josh Zepps. He sounds like this:
And looks like this:
(A very bad picture, might I add...))
Step 3: Make Australian bands like Gotye famous with songs like 'Somebody That I Used To Know' so that people like them.
Step 4: Proceed to have Australians in movies or movies based in Australia.
Step 5: Begin to slowly move out spies from the AUI to know every inch of the world to invade more properly.
Step 6: Have people being to like Australians and make them want to go or visit those people for a higher fame count.
Now, this all probably won't happen, but I'm telling you what I'm thinking in my mind...it's better than nothing. (Sorry for slamming all Australians, I actually do like your country. National anthem...eh, that could be better, but ours isn't any better anyway.)
Arrivederci! (Italian for goodbye)
New post, maybe, next week.
And for the remainder of the time I've got you here, here's a video I made for when I went to Camp Lincoln with my class and the only person you hear talking is my friend Annie who wasn't in the est mood that day...
